Attendee Spotlight - @PJsNurse

Please welcome PJsNurse:

I'm not sure where to start, I don't like talking about myself in general. I'm very shy initially so this meet-up is an act of faith for me. I am married with no children but have 3 dogs which I love dearly. I am a pediatric nurse, primarily for very sick babies in their home and I absolutely love it. I live in Washington state but have never visited Forks. I have, however, visited many of the original Twilight filming sites in Portland, OR and the surrounding areas. Pictured is me and my husband on vacation one year and then my mini Rob, my co-pilot. I've taken lots of pics of him during traveling too.

I remember hearing about this movie called Twilight and knew it was about vampires. This really didn't interest me at the time. Soon after I signed up for Netflix and decided to give Twilight a try. The date was August 11, 2009. I was hooked immediately! As soon as the movie was over I watched it again with the commentary on. We all know how fun and entertaining it was. I found my 40-something self having a crush on a young man from England. Of course I had to read the books and went right out and bought Twilight first. I read it several times then bought the rest of the series. For a while I just kept reading them all and starting over.

My next step was a wonderful site called RAoR where I found many lovely ladies with the same thoughts and feelings over Rob. It was a great place to hang out and talk, make friends. I read about something called Fan Fiction, I had never heard of it before. I wish I could remember the first Fic I read but I can't. There have been SO many and I haven't kept track. I think I've read every genre except slash. I love a good story that pulls me in, helps me to escape real life some.

At some point I started leaving FF behind, stopped reading except to finish a few favorites. I was so obsessed, I spent all my time on the laptop, I needed a break. I basically stopped reading at all. Recently I decided I missed reading and started reading real books again and last night I started a couple new stories, first time in well over a year!

I have never met any of the ladies going to the meet-up but am acquainted with a few. I found a roommate and travel partner from the next town over on FB. I have been to Las Vegas before and I'm so excited to meet as many people as I can. I don't write, it's never been my forte. I really look up to writers because I know it's not easy and some of the stories are just exquisite. Hope to see you all there!

I'm on Twitter @PJsNurse (See I don't like talking but I rambled on in a E-Mail) ~ Sarah ;)

Can't wait to meet you in Vegas, bb. :)

So, have you sent us your spotlight? If not I will haunt you in your dreams. Ok, not really. ;)
